Benefits

The AMT 170 Compact MIG is suitable for light automotive and light industrial applications, its a lightweight, easy-to-use single phase (230V) DC MIG welding machine.

It is ideal for the semi-professional enthusiast, weighs only 25kg (without wire) and comes with a full instruction manual and professional torch.

The AMT 170 Compact features a turbo fan and thermal trip (with neon indicator), to safeguard against overloads, and can be used with gasless wire.

Note: If welding aluminum it is recommended to use with a Teflon liner, suitable tip and drive roll.*

All our MIG welders feature Butters AMT Welding "Soft Arc" technology, which mean you benefit from minimal splatter when welding.
