Benefits

The NBC 315 Separate is a versatile and robust single phase machine, ideally suited to medium to heavy fabrication. For example, on maximum power and maximum duty cycle it consumes only 12kVA, which means it requires only a 35A fuse and can be used in the field from a 15kVA generator.

Its full size cabinet (which can accept a full height gas cylinder) and large diameter wheels means it can be moved from job to job with little risk of toppling. Also, its separate 4 roll wire feed unit (the SSJ-10 WF) features our renowned all-geared drive system, minimising the risk of wire slip and so making your welds uniform. Further, with its 2 metre interconnections and 4 metre welding torch, this gives you a work radius of 6 metres.

The unit is also suitable for use with spool or push-pull guns, which allows you to increase your work radius up to 13 metres. The NBC 315 Separate + SSJ-10 WF ability to take larger diameter wire than lower power units in the range means it can weld thicker plate and its 16 switch settings allow for fine-tuning the output power.

Note 1: If operating the machine in its higher output current range for long durations, water cooling of the torch is an option.* Water cooling leads to a cooler and more comfortable torch. Also, maintaining a constant torch tip and neck temperature results in consistent welds throughout the work cycle and increases the life of the tip.
